On the 30th of September 2025, Certimac researcher, Cristiano Valli, will participate at E-MOB 2025 (Milan, Italy) to present FENICE research results about closed-loop recyclable and fire-resistant composite materials for electric vehicle battery boxes. The presentation will focus on advanced Fiber Metal Laminates (FML) capable to meet the stringent requirements of battery enclosures. Experimental results show that these multi-material solutions can reduce battery box weight by up to 40% compared to steel, through the use of recyclable composite materials.

In addition, on the 1st of October at the same event, FENICE project coordinator Claudio Mingazzini, will present the applications of the same solutions to the construction sector.
